good weekend

Well I just got back from our camping trip to Bloomington Canyon.

I'm a little wiped out.

Lloyd & Amy went up Thursday night to secure our spot. It's a good thing, too, because a lot of people showed up Friday. Val, Jared, & I made it up late Friday night. we thought that we had picked a good spot to setup the tent. we later found that it was criss-crossed with PETRIFIED gopher tunnels.

Saturday we headed to Bear Lake to do a little jet-skiing. what a blast. I think it pretty much kicked all of our asses. we all pretty much got sun-burned, but I think Amy got the worst of it. the skin under her eyes actually blistered.

Saturday night we just sat around the fire and drank, and I had to be helped to the tent after I lost a fight to Whalers.

Val & Jared both fell in the creek. Val's was much more humorous, seeing as she was completely soaked.

This morning, we made eggs & bacon & real shitty hash browns. in the afternoon we hiked up to Bloomington Lake. talk about some beautiful scenery. I took some pictures, but not near as many as I should have.

all in all it was a good trip. I'd really like to go camping a few more times before summer is over...
